Please could someone help with this problem? CDs write very well that it's just the DVD.
Whenever I try to burn files to DVD discs using my dvd/rw drive, it holds in check the same point and comes with the invalid 'MS-DOS function' error.

I tried to uninstall the drivers for the DVD - RW, and reinstall, I don't know what else to do. It looked like from this, after that I burned a disc of pictures of family once, but I'm not positive. The games I ran before with no problem at all, and drives that I'm trying will play fine on my Windows XP laptop, so I'm not sure what has changed to make it act like this. He will see my DVD - RW discs, but nothing else. I'm using Windows 7 Home Edition premium for my office, and all of a sudden she refuses to see my game or DVD discs when I put them in the drive. Windows 7 does not see some games or DVD discs in my DVD - RW drive I tried to reinstall it and unistalling repeatedly to nothing does not

The new disk drive has no problem with any other dvd, cd or software except for this. It installs perfectly but when it comes to play, it says put disc 1 when disk 1 is already there. Before the problems, Sims 2 would work with ease, but now after the hard drive has been replaced it will not. OK, so I recently had problems with my hard drive on my laptop Toshiba Satellite A300 and he brought the manufacturer to be replaced. Sims 2 installed, but what disk 1 is handed over to play it says bad disc place the correct disc
